Dear Barbara:

	I have just read your %2Semantics - Mathematics or Psychology%1
and have one comment.  The difficulties you raise seem real to me,
but notice that the psychological hypothesis has no necessary relation
to human beings but applies to any actual user of language including
machines.  In just the ways you describe humans as imperfect, any machine
existing in the real world must also be imperfect.  For this reason
the term %2psychological%1 should be changed to something like
%2operational%1 or else qualified to have that meaning.
